I bought my Kenwood Chef over 30 years ago and it is still going strong. I decided to treat my daughter, a dedicated cook, to the Kenwood Classic. It arrived within 2 days of placing the order - 10 out of 10 to the supplier. My daughter is absolutely delighted with the mixer as is her family who are benefiting from more and more home baking. Rating: - Why change a good design?
I bought virtually the same model as this in the late seventies and it has only just become beyond economic repair so I was pleased to see the same model still available! Excellent for all baking mixing and mashing potatoes, liquidiser is also brilliant for soup. Still very easy to use, not fiddly. It now has a splash cover for the bowl which is good for larger amounts.

My Kenwood mixer replaces the Kenwood machine I bought in the 1970's and it is of the same high standard of my older machine. It is simple to use but I have found that it will not whisk just 2 egg whites as the amoound of white is so small and the bowl is so large. That is the only downside of my machine. So far I have made 5 christmas cakes and each time the amount of mixture was not a problem for the machine. It makes light work of crumbling biscuits for cheesecakes and it also makes perfect ...
