Rating:  - Smells of burning, poor motor
I was very enthusiastic about the product initially. Alas, after its third use it started smelling of burning. It does not break ice cubes as advertised. Works well when blending fruit only. Easy to clean.

Great machine. Bought as a present for someone who was more than particular about what a smoothie maker should do like juice... dance, sing etc... Spent hours looking at comments from others and ended getting this but was more than worried it would be a flop event though it had good reviews...

What a great idea from Kenwood! I love this machine! I have had a few smoothie machines and found them heavy, hard to dismantle and clean etc etc. This one is so easy to use, just stick your ingredients in the jug, stick the blade on and wizz, then put the leak proof lid on and go! So simple. I find I need to take it off the base sometimes, give it a quick shake and wizz again, just because if you use thick ingredients like yoghurt/ banana etc it sometimes needs a shake because the whole thing is upside ...
